Headquartered in Ahoskie – a small, charming town in northeastern North Carolina – Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center (RCCHC) provides complete preventive and primary health care services for the entire family, offering primary care, dental and pediatric services, and an in-house pharmacy to its 17K unique patient population.

RCCHC is seeking its next Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to serve as a strategic leader creating a plan for aligning people, processes and values that support and further the organization’s mission: “Great care for everyone, every day.”

Under the administration of the CEO, the CMO is responsible for RCCHC’s compliance with all clinical medical policies, directives, rules, regulations and clinical performance standards of the state, the federal government, and accrediting bodies, and will serve as the organization’s ultimate authority on medical issues.

The ideal candidate has expertise and leadership capabilities in an FQHC setting must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a clinical, academic, or administrative capacity. Relocation reimbursement and a sign-on bonus is being offered.
