Serving the greater Bridgeport community of Connecticut, Southwest Community Health Center (SWCHC) is hiring a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to succeed a respected longtime COO and partner closely with the center’s President and CEO to shape the next chapter of SWCHC operations.

The incoming COO will lead a thoughtful transition, oversee health center operations, environment of care, and facilities. The work calls for an enterprise leader who is both strategic and practical – translating strategy into real-world operating plans, while developing staff, using Epic (EHR platform) and performance data well, and building strong internal and external partnerships.

The strongest candidate will bring at least five years of senior FQHC leadership experience, sound operational judgment, and a visible, relationship-centered style. Success will require close partnership with clinical, financial, people, technology, compliance, and community leaders, along with credibility among managers and staff at sites where care is delivered.
