With 12 locations, Contentnea Health is hiring a Medical Director – a lead clinical position reporting to the center’s CEO.

Located approximately 70 miles east/southeast of North Carolina’s capital, Raleigh, Contentnea Health offers a full range of services, including medical care, behavioral health, and dental care, with a robust women’s health program and mobile health unit.

Primary responsibilities of the role, which is both administrative and clinical, include overseeing and leading the clinical operations as well as providing direct care to patients. Additionally, this individual will participate in board meetings, represent the health center in external meetings, and be expected to build relationships with local health officials and the local hospital systems.
